We have chosen to include these product in our range because they fit in so well with our environmental philosophy. Oilskin is a completely natural fabric made from 100% high grade cotton, closely woven and oil impregnated to a traditional New Zealand formula, which provides total wind and waterproofing, and is exceptionally hard wearing. Unlike most synthetic materials, it is both repairable and re-proofable and will give not just years, but decades of all weather service.

These knitted garments are made from a unique New Zealand yarn - a blend of 50% fine merino lambswool, 10% nylon, and 40% possum fur. (Each night 70-90 millions possums eat their way through 22,00 tonnes of native forest. The environmental destruction they cause is enormous.)
